AMSL Diabetes are thrilled to announce the sponsorship of the Type 1 Foundation.
The Type 1 Foundation is a not-for-profit charity raising awareness of type 1 diabetes through education in schools, medical practices, and the wider community. It is a volunteer-based organisation that aims to empower a generation of young people living with type 1 diabetes. They also provide ongoing support for families affected by diabetes through various programs and community events.
Founder and CEO of the Type 1 Foundation, Ange Liston-McCaughley noted of sponsorship “without their support, we would not be able to achieve the amazing goals that we, as a not-for-profit organisation, set over the years.”
At AMSL Diabetes, we are proud to partner with the Type 1 Foundation and work with them to achieve a greater quality of life for so many living with diabetes. We strive to empower individuals living with type 1 diabetes by spotlighting the successes and everyday triumphs of various individuals within the Australian diabetes community. Specifically, our AMSL Diabetes All-Star program has been designed to inspire and educate individuals on the day-to-day realities of living with type 1 diabetes.
AMSL Diabetes is the Australian distributor of the Dexcom CGM systems, t:slim X2 insulin pumps, OneTouch Blood Glucose meters and other diabetes devices and accessories. For more information on AMSL Diabetes, please visit amsldiabetes.com.au
