- Automatic Insulin Adjustments: Automatically adjust insulin levels based on Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring readings (Dexcom G6 sold separately)
- Automatic Correction Boluses: Deliver automatic correction boluses (up to one an hour) to help prevent hyperglycaemiaΔ
- Activity Settings: Optional settings for Sleep and Exercise that adjust range of treatment values for more control

Within each profile, up to 16 different time segments can be created that allow individual basal rates, insulin-to-carb ratios, correction factors, and target blood glucose levels for greater customisation.

Updateable software for the t:slim X2 insulin pump allows for a set of changes to the software to update and improve the system. This means that the hardware will remain the same, however the software will be consistently updated over time enhancing the users overall experience.
Dexcom G6 CGM is compatible with the t:slim X2 insulin pump. This is sold separately – more information can be found here
No. Once updated with Control-IQ technology, you will not be able to revert your t:slim X2 insulin pump back to the old software. To upgrade your existing in warranty t:slim X2 insulin pump to the latest Control-IQ version, speak to your healthcare professional and complete the Control-IQ upgrade form found here to get started.
For all pumps within the 4-year manufacturers warranty, the Control-IQ software update is free of charge. To upgrade your existing in warranty t:slim X2 insulin pump to the latest Control-IQ version, speak to your healthcare professional and complete the Control-IQ upgrade form found here.

When the Sleep Activity is enabled, the treatment values are lower and narrower since there are fewer variables that affect glucose values during sleep e.g. you are not eating or exercising. This mode can decrease or stop basal insulin delivery to help prevent lows and highs during sleep.
When Exercise is enabled in the Activity menu, Control-IQ technology uses slightly different treatment values in order to adjust basal insulin delivery. The treatment values used when Exercise is enabled are narrower and higher to accommodate the likely natural drop in glucose levels during and following exercising.

The t:slim X2 insulin pump is compatible with the t:lock cartridge and the following t:lock infusion sets: AutoSoft™ 90, AutoSoft™ 30, TruSteel™ and VariSoft™.
